Adam Rhoades-Brown

Vice President, Development

As Vice President of the development division, Adam is responsible for overseeing acquisition, financing, and development activities from initial concept through project completion for CSP’s 3.5 million square foot development pipeline.  Adam has extensive experience partnering with local governments, investors, lenders, nonprofits, tenants, and community members to successfully execute complex projects that positively transform neighborhoods.  These public/private partnerships have allowed Adam to develop a deep understanding of public financing tools, including state and federal historic tax credits, New Markets Tax Credits, Tax Increment Financing, and a variety of other local, state, and federal incentive programs that help make these challenging projects financially feasible.

Adam and his team are currently building a nonprofit advisory practice for high-impact community lead projects, a homebuilding group to increase homeownership access in distressed neighborhoods, and a commercial development group focused on large scale master developments such as the historic CROWN Campus.

Outside of work, Adam serves on several boards supporting education, entrepreneurship, and homelessness including: the Henderson Hopkins School (K-8 Public Charter School), Venture for America’s Regional Advisory Board, Healthcare for the Homeless, and The Club at Collington Square (K-8 after school and summer program). Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.

During his tenure at Cross Street Partners, Adam has played a role in many of the firm’s signature projects, including Lion Bros. Building, Hoen Lithograph Campus, and Henderson Crossing.
