ASPIRA of Delaware, a non-profit educational institution, is driven by an equity mission to dismantle systemic inequities and foster a culture of care that embraces diverse identities, particularly Latino youth. The organization aims to empower each ASPIRANTE to reach their full potential and positively impact their communities.
ASPIRA currently operates two schools in Newark, DE and has the third largest enrollment of Delaware’s 23 charter schools. When Complete, ASPIRA’s third location at the Las Americas ASPIRA Academy at the Georgetown Icehouse is expected to enroll 400+ students.
Our Advisory Role
Cross Street Partners was engaged to assist the developer in stewarding the rehabilitation of the Georgetown Icehouse as a Development Consultant. Our Advisors are supporting the assembly and structuring of the project’s capital stack, including grant funding, state and federal historic tax credits, New Markets Tax Credits, and debt financing.
