Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club at Hilton Rec Center
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore (BGCMB) have transformed the once-vacant Hilton Recreation Center into a state-of-the-art destination for youth programming. Built on support from the Baltimore Ravens and Bisciotti Family Foundation, the CSP Advisory team “Joined The Flock” and provided the NMTC advisory services to take the project across the finish line.

Building a Boys & Girls Club
Sitting in the shadow of West Baltimore’s Green Street Academy, the once-vacant Hilton Recreation Center has been reimagined by Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore as a vibrant, state-of-the-art destination for youth programming. The facility now offers a dynamic mix of spaces designed to support creativity, learning, and active lifestyles – including a gym, teen center, arts and dance studios, technology and music labs, a teaching kitchen, and a fully lit, multipurpose turf field shared between the Club at neighboring schools.
This impactful project was made possible through the generous support of the Baltimore Ravens, the Bisciotti Family Foundation, Under Armour, and a broad network of community partners and donors.
Our Advisory Role
Cross Street Partners supported BGCMB in identifying and structuring New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing, resulting in a $2 million net benefit to the project. This financing was instrumental in closing a critical funding gap and advancing the project to completion.
Our team worked closely with the owner and financing partners to align the NMTC structure with overall project goals, ensuring an efficient and executable approach to closing. This strategic coordination helped maximize available resources while supporting the delivery of a high-impact community asset.
