As Building Engineering Lead, Sebastian supports the property management team in coordinating projects and works alongside the Chief Building Engineer to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the portfolio. He conducts inspections of building equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and functionality, while maintaining energy management records and supporting efficient building operations.

Prior to joining Cross Street Partners, Sebastian served as Maintenance Department Manager at Furnace Record Pressing, where he specialized in the operation and maintenance of complex vinyl record presses while overseeing facility and building maintenance projects.

Originally from North Carolina, Sebastian studied music technology at the University of North Carolina Asheville and sustainability at Blue Ridge Community College. During that time, he developed a passion for restoration and preservation — beginning with vintage and antique furniture before expanding into historic buildings. His appreciation for craftsmanship and adaptive reuse continues to shape his hands-on approach to building operations and preservation today.
