Vice President, Development - Dayton
As Development Vice President of the Dayton Office, David manages the Dayton Arcade adaptive reuse and historic preservation project in Dayton Ohio. He oversees the design, construction, leasing, and financing for the project.
Prior to joining Cross Street Partners, Dave was vice president of Urban Development at Miller-Valentine Group. Dave also served as director of Downtown Housing for CityWide Development, a CDFI and quasi financial arm of the City of Dayton, charged with spurring on the development of Downtown Housing throughout the Greater Downtown Dayton Area. Adaptive reuse to infill and everything in between, David set the stage for the development community to be able to quickly understand the marketplace and bring new units to market. As Director, he assisted in the assembly of development opportunities, provided direction on funding tools, all while helping troubleshoot project challenges.
David has over 25 years of experience in the construction and real estate development industry. As a degreed construction manager, he is skilled in conceptual and project estimating, and project management. Licensed in commercial real estate and a LEED-AP he has the ability to help with innovative and creative ways of accomplishing most redevelopment projects. Project experience encompasses office, retail, healthcare, multi-family, adaptive reuse, historic preservation and food service. He has collaborated, created and administered architectural and development standards for, mixed-use developments, TIF Districts and New Community Authorities.
