As Director of Finance at Cross Street Partners, Tenisha Johnson leads the Accounting Department and plays a key role on the senior management team. She sets and drives the company’s financial priorities, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. Tenisha also provides strategic support for complex public finance transactions and leverages her deep expertise in diverse funding structures to help advance CSP’s mission-driven development projects. She works closely with leaders across construction, development, advisory services, and property management to align financial strategy with organizational goals.

Tenisha brings more than 15 years of accounting and finance experience in real estate development and property management. Prior to joining CSP, she served as Vice President of Accounting at a real estate and social impact firm, where she led a team of eight professionals and oversaw financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Her earlier roles included senior accounting leadership across large real estate portfolios, where she specialized in streamlining financial operations, enhancing internal controls, and supporting long-term financial planning.
